Assessment
The Eberly Centre for Teaching Excellence and Educational Motivation has compiled a wealth of information for assessing both teaching and learning. The section on the difference between assessment and grading explains the concept very well. The section on assessments, learning objectives, instructional strategies and alignment explaine why it’s important to consider alignment, which was very useful. There is also a section on Formative vs Summative assessments. The most useful section was Examples and Tools. There were examples of different type of assessments by course and education level.
This website will definitely improve instruction because it explain the correct method of assessment of both the students and instructors. It should be considered a valuable resource.
